ABOUT YOUHANA MIKHAIEL

A dedicated Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision, LLMs, and multimodal models, currently contributing to innovative healthcare solutions at Norbert Health. Over the past 4+ years, I have successfully designed and deployed machine learning systems that drive impactful, real-world results across healthcare and industrial domains.At Norbert Health, I’ve played a key role in enhancing heart rate prediction accuracy, developing mobility assessment algorithms for elderly care, and building a comprehensive patient enrollment pipeline using facial recognition. My work with multimodal models has also enabled advanced human activity recognition and personalized health monitoring. Before this, at Cypheme, I applied my AI expertise to combat counterfeiting and protect consumers by deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines, while also leading a research team focused on detecting anomalies in graph structures using unsupervised algorithms. Additionally, I’ve worked on generative models like GANs for improving handwriting synthesis at MyScript, advancing class fairness in incremental learning at LIG, and generating attribute-based facial images using progressive cGANs.I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from Grenoble INP - UGA (ENSIMAG), where I specialized in machine learning and computer vision, and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications and Information Engineering, with a focus on information theory and signal processing. Along with my academic background, I have certifications in Python, Flask, and Cloud Computing, and I speak English, French, and Arabic. Driven by a passion for solving real-world problems through machine learning, I’m always eager to embrace new technologies and techniques.
