I am a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group of Davis & Gilbert and my practice covers a broad range of real estate transactions, including the leasing, acquisition, sale and financing of commercial properties, with a special emphasis in the leasing of office, retail and industrial spaces. I regularly represent landlords and tenants of all sizes and have extensive expertise with complex lease negotiations, handling some of the largest commercial office leases in New York City in the past several years. I have represented such prominent organizations as Group M Worldwide, Inc, The Gap, Inc, Polo Ralph Lauren, The National Football League, Natixis, and Meredith Corporation in their office headquarter leases, totaling well over a million square feet combined. I also advise a number of well-known international retailers such as Uniqlo, Theory, Polo Ralph Lauren, and The Gap, Inc. SIGNIFICANT RECENT ENGAGEMENTS:Represented Group M Worldwide, Inc. in the leasing of over square feet at 3 World Trade Center in New York City. This transaction was one of the largest commercial office leases completed in 2013.Represented SJP Properties, landlord of 11 Times Square, in the leasing of approximately square feet to the law firm Proskauer Rose LLP. When this lease was signed it was the largest new lease in New York City in the past two years.Represented The Gap, Inc. in the relocation of its East Coast corporate headquarters to square feet at 55 Thomas Street/40 Worth Street. This lease was the largest relocation of the year and the winner of The Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award.Represented Polo Ralph Lauren in the restructuring and renewal of its lease at 650 Madison Avenue for approximately square feet. This lease was among the top ten largest leases the year it was signed.Represented Uniqlo in connection with its nationwide rollout.
