Yoshitaro Kumagai has been a senior advisor to domestic and international start-ups and corporations, including Pure Digital (acquired by Cisco for $590million) and Fitbit Inc, which is listed at NYSE. Kumagai has also held senior management positions at Vivitar and Mead Corporation.Kumagai is Corporate Director of Destiny Media Technologies Inc. and since 1981 Kumagai has held positions with Singer, the Imaging Division of Mead Corporation and IDEC Corporation where he was responsible for Japanese and US sales and operations. Kumagai\'s most recent position is an investment committee member of Tohoku University, Venture Partners Co, Ltd, Sendai, Japan.
