Partner responsible for Assurance Services in our Private Company Services practice in the PwC Detroit office. Previously, Yoshi held a position of the US Leader of the Japanese inbound practice and was responsible for managing the overall delivery of quality services to multinational companies and for ensuring client satisfaction for all services provided. Yoshi has almost 30 years of experience with inbound client services on a national basis while residing in Detroit. Yoshi’s career with the firm in the US began by supporting start up activities from an influx of new inbound automotive investments located throughout the Midwest. His primary focus has been to provide quality professional services to inbound investments in manufacturing and distribution operations. Yoshi is very skilled in assisting clients in bridging the gap between American and inbound business practices and business culture. Yoshi has experience with IAS/IFRS reporting frameworks with inbound companies in the automotive industry. Yoshi is a member of the AICPA and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Yoshi is also a member of the Japanese Business Society of Detroit where he previously held the positions of vice president, treasurer and executive committee member. He is fluent in English and Japanese.
