About Yolanda Chen
I am a scientist and educator who studies how people shape ecological and evolutionary processes for insects in agroecosystems. I interested in providing scientific knowledge to policy makers and the public on how to advance sustainable agriculture and food systems. At the University of Vermont, I lead the Insect Agroecology and Evolution Lab, where my postdocs, graduate students, undergraduate students, and collaborators examine these themes through new research.
