Perform quality control functions and ensure adherence to written operational procedures, as well as assist in the development of technological infrastructure improvements in order to ensure organizational compliance with various regulatory laws and statutes- Provide day-to-day legal support and guidance to various business units, including, but not limited to, client relations, operational vendor management, information security, human resources, third-party risk management, and business development- Review, analyze, negotiate, revise, and draft various contracts and commercial documents, including, but not limited to, mutual and multi-party nondisclosure agreements, master services agreements, contract amendments, securitization agreements, joinders, acknowledgment agreements, letters of direction, subservicing agreements, statements of work, and settlement agreements- Anticipate and identify potential legal issues related to the implementation of proposed subservicing procedures and evolving processes in an effort to mitigate legal, regulatory, and operational risks- Develop and update referential matrix charts regarding contractual obligations in order to operationally assist various business units and to help ensure corporate compliance with client, federal regulatory, and investor guidelines- Analyze requests for information and draft appropriate documentation in preparation for on-site audits, as well as due diligence audits conducted remotely by external, third-party auditors.
