I’m Yogesh Kumar Maurya, a final-year B.Tech student in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, with a strong interest in applying materials science principles to semiconductor materials and electronic devices, while also being deeply knowledgeable in traditional processes like steelmaking and ironmaking.My academic foundation is strengthened by hands-on experience from a summer internship at Usha Martin Limited, Ranchi, in the Quality Assurance department. This provided practical exposure to metallurgical quality control, rigorous product inspection, and testing standards — core competencies critical to ensuring material reliability in both advanced electronics and heavy industry.I possess solid expertise in steelmaking, mechanical testing, and materials characterization. I’m also proficient in:Python, MATLAB, Origin – for data analysis and simulationHighScore, ZView – for phase and impedance analysisC++ – for programming fundamentalsThis combination of traditional metallurgical knowledge and modern analytical tools equips me to tackle challenges in materials processing, device fabrication, and process optimization.While my passion lies in semiconductor materials and electronics manufacturing, I’m equally open to opportunities in steel production, quality assurance, or advanced materials R&D.
