Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to understand the requirements and objectivesof the control system project.• Participate in the design and planning phases, including conceptualization, system architecture design,and component selection.• Develop PLC programs using programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, function blockdiagrams, or sequential function charts.• Configure and program PLCs from various manufacturers, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, orSchneider Electric.• Create and design user-friendly HMIs to allow operators to interact with and monitor the controlsystem.• Construct electrical and fluid schematics packages by laying out I/O, designing the magnetics circuits,fusing, controls panel layouts, bills of material, and cable layouts.• Detailing the hardware schematics on EPLAN/AutoCAD. Editing machine software programs andduplicate logic from reference. Assist in the machine wiring checkout process and perform small tointermediate machine debugging.• Participate in the machine integration and debugging process at the customer’s facility if required.• Modify and detail hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
