About Yogesh Sharma
Authorized to work in the U.S. on H-1B; open to H-1B transfer. I have over 15 years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering large-scale enterprise and cloud-based IT systems, applications, and solutions across commercial, financial, and healthcare sectors. I have a proven track record of architectural leadership and innovation, with a strong ability to define architectural vision, strategy, and roadmaps—and to translate these into optimal, production-ready solutions. I excel in communication and possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with executive and technical teams, clients, and user communities. I stay fully up to date with the latest IT industry trends, tools, and technologies.Currently, I work at Intuit-Mailchimp as part of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) team. Our mission is to produce clean, near real-time data. I’m part of the Data Transformer team, which ingests change data capture (CDC) events from legacy systems via Kafka, transforms them into clean entities, and publishes them to client-facing topics for downstream consumption.Previously, I worked with the Data Platform team at Intuit on a NoSQL application supporting multiple clients with high transactions-per-second (TPS) requirements. I built a client-facing application that reads messages from Kafka, processes and cleans the data, and writes it to a data lake for AI consumption. This self-service application supports user onboarding, is tested to handle up to 100k TPS, and includes robust features for data security, lifecycle management, and monitoring. At DICK\'S Sporting Goods, I was part of the Innovation team and contributed to two major projects: implementing RFID and building an athlete-facing application using Spring Boot and Azure. I was involved from the ground up and worked across CI/CD pipelines, ELK stack, Kubernetes, and analytics infrastructure. While at HMHS, I served as a Senior Consultant on the Member Portal team. I built SSO capabilities from scratch using OAuth and led the migration of a legacy application to the cloud using a domain-driven design approach. At Accenture, I gained experience working with multiple clients and developed a strong understanding of business operations. I led a 10+ member offshore team and directly interfaced with clients to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions. This role gave me significant exposure to software delivery, estimation, and cost modeling.
