ABOUT YOG CHALLAGULLA
I have spent most of my career working at the intersection of clinical environments, medical devices and healthcare data.Starting as a biomedical engineer working inside hospitals, I gained first-hand experience of how technology actually operates in critical care environments and operating theatres. Over time my work evolved from engineering and systems integration to EPR into product and market leadership for connected patient monitoring and digital health solutions.Today I work as a Product and Marketing Manager responsible for patient monitoring and digital health solutions across the UK and Ireland. Much of my work focuses on translating complex medical device data into tools that clinicians and hospitals can use to improve patient care and operational efficiency.Examples include analytics tools analysing alarm histories in patient monitoring systems and anaesthesia gas consumption across operating theatres, as well as digital workflow platforms such as OR Companion that integrate operating theatre data.These experiences have reinforced a key lesson: healthcare technology only creates value when it fits naturally into real clinical workflows.My next career step is to focus more directly on AI-enabled healthcare products. The most impactful AI solutions in healthcare will not come from algorithms alone, but from people who understand how to translate data signals and model outputs into tools clinicians trust and use.I am particularly interested in product roles operating at the intersection of:• clinical workflows• complex healthcare data• emerging AI capabilities
