Currently working as a Claims & System Development Analyst within the Liability/Property Dept. I work with our employees to identify pain points and workflow gaps and then with IT to develop solutions. I also provide first line support when issues arise to help identify whether it is a training issue or a defect and then work the appropriate person to resolve the issue, whether that be providing retraining to the employee(s) or workign with IT to resolve the defect. I often joke that instead of writing legal documents, which I did for 20+ years, I am writing technical requirements. The transition into this position from a paralegal has been a great one for me!

Responsible for providing and managing internal business reporting, departmental process improvements and defining functional technology business requirements to support claims business functions. Supervise a small team providing these business services, and analyzing and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. In March of 2020, I began supervising our Dept’s Admin Team as well. We have moved to a Servant Led Team, where we are working together to strengthen the Team, improving workflows to be more efficient, and developing Team skills to allow them to better support each other. I also provide individual support while they develop individual skills needed to reach their goals and dreams.
