Clients call me when they need their staff to buy into the organization\'s vision and embrace it as their own. It\'s also how I approach teaching marketing and strategic communications at Rutgers Business School.We know most people think of diversity and inclusion training as something that is boring and presented as “medicine” to the staff. However, this far-reaching and potentially emotionally charged topic is one that requires finesse and openness to get everyone on the same page. When I deliver this workshop using Lego bricks, the personal barriers come down, the conversation in the room is safe and what emerges is people who know and understand each other better.
