ABOUT YURI KUZYK
I really enjoy building and enabling teams to deliver complex IVDs and medical devices to full production – knowing that I have helped patients is paramount. I’m equally adept at talking about due diligence with potential investors as I am in creating a credible project plan for the company. I enjoy hands-on work including Solidworks mechatronics design, Altium analog layout, C embedded development, simulation and writing QMS documents. I have also developed several Machine Learning applications for my own use and enjoy working on new projects using TensorFlow. I’m also very happy to have contributed to PEO, including as part of the EDTF task force, since 1995. Areas of expertise and experience include- Complex IVD and medical device development including budget, resource and project planning - Optical, electro-mechanical and embedded design including critical supplier selection and approval - Regulatory Systems Engineering best practices for FDA, Health Canada and CE - Start-up scale up, investor due diligence and strategic, portfolio and operational planning
