About Yi Zhou

I founded the Agentic Engineering Institute (AEI) after seeing the same systemic pattern across global enterprises. AI pilots worked, but production systems failed. Governance fractured. ROI disappeared. Traditional software engineering could not support agentic systems, and organizations lacked an effective discipline to build and operate intelligence at scale. After 30 years leading AI, data, cloud, and digital transformation, I set out to create that discipline and define the standards the field now urgently requires. Agentic Engineering is that discipline. As Founder and CEO of both AEI and ArgoLong, I help executive teams adopt a new approach to building intelligent systems. AEI is defining Agentic Engineering as the field that transforms cognition and automation into stable and trustworthy enterprise capabilities. My role spans defining the discipline, shaping certification and ethics, driving research, and building the global community that will lead the next era of applied intelligence. Through writing, speaking, and collaboration with industry, academia, and policymakers, I represent AEI as the authority on engineering intelligence with rigor, reliability, and human control.
