I\'ve always had a deep appreciation for architecture. This curiosity led me to explore building performance simulation, where I found a meaningful way to combine my passions and skills.My professional journey began with an internship at Transsolar in New York City, followed by a full-time role at Affiliated Engineers in Madison, WI. There, I received formal training and contributed to the design and performance evaluation of sustainable laboratory and healthcare facilities, completing over 20 large and complex projects. Later, I briefly explored the commercial real estate sector and utility program consulting, where I enhanced existing tools and workflows to evaluate and benchmark building portfolios using building energy modeling.In 2024, I joined Big Ladder Software, a leading open-source software company dedicated to advancing today\'s building energy modeling tools. My focus at Big Ladder is on enabling more effective use of building performance analysis tools through open-source software development, education, community engagement, and the integration of artificial intelligence.Market-based solutions have significant potential to address climate change. I’m looking to connect with like-minded professionals and explore ways we can work together.
