ABOUT YI YANG

As a group leader in Downstream Process Development, my main responsibilities are to lead the downstream process development and internal technology transfer of processes, implement scale-down models to GLP standards, undertake risk-based and experimental studies to optimise and characterise the processes and subsequently contribute to/lead external technology transfer of the processes to GMP manufacturing. On top of the regular DSP unit operations, I have extensive experience in DoE, AI etc with great interest into mathematic tools such as multi-variate data analysis etc. I have in-depth knowledge of biological molecules, regulations (i.e. GMP, GLP, ICH) and regulatory pathways (i.e. QbD) and supporting CMC documentation.I have DSP experience in different therapeutical protein categories such as mAbs, bispecific, recombinant proteins and other modality such as exosomes, VLPs etc.In addition, I have hands-on experience in microbial and mammalian system USP and analytics background.I have profound experience in implementation of high-throughput lab automation systems.
