Our team mission is building fundamental infra and platform to power online and field sales channels to provide a buying experience across the entire customer base of LinkedIn. I oversee the following teams- Sales Data Infra. This team built a unified data platform for LinkedIn BI and reporting use cases. The team owns the ingestion, transformation and serving of sales data by leveraging Apache Spark- Dev Productivity. This team owns the common framework and infra to increase developer efficiency including workflow service, gRPC migration, Oracle to MySql migration, testing infra, etc- Mobile Purchase Platform. This team owns the service and framework to enable purchasing LinkedIn products from iOS and Android devices- Product Catalog. This team owns the central metadata service to manage the lifecycle of all LinkedIn products. I incubated the project and it’s under development now- Sales Performance Platform. This team owns the platform to manage sales reps’ compensation. It consists of an offline calculation pipeline and online service for data serving.
