About Yingru Liu
Senior Research Scientist with a strong background in AI and machine learning, particularly in time-series and sequential generative modeling. My earlier research focused on applying ML methods to neural-motor interface systems, advancing decoding and adaptive modeling for human–machine interaction. In recent years, my work has evolved toward speech generation — including text-to-speech (TTS) and speech language models — bridging advances in large-scale generative AI with real-time, interactive audio systems. Ph.D. in Applied Machine Learning from Stony Brook University, with growing interests at the intersection of AI, speech, and immersive technologies such as AR/VR.
