In 2024, I co-founded Plush, an AI-powered fashion discovery platform designed to make online shopping more intuitive and personalized. We help users find clothing that fits their style, mood, and life, without the endless scroll.Previously, I spent nearly six years at Airbnb, where I worked on the Service Mesh team. My work included building the next-generation Service Mesh based on Istio, focusing on mesh API, observability, TCP and external service support, egress gateway, mesh scalability, and performance. I also contributed to Airbnb’s open-source initiatives and shared insights on service mesh performance optimization.Earlier in my career, I built customer service tools for Airbnb China, including an emergency support feature within the Airbnb app and a help center within the Airbnb WeChat miniapp. I also developed a filtering service for scraping out PII data to meet compliance requirements.I hold a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford.
