With over 13 years of experience in structural engineering, I specialize in the design of concrete bridges, retaining walls, and other public infrastructure structures for transportation projects. As the Senior Structural Engineer in the group of Gannett FLeming Transystem TX operations, I am responsible for designing and overseeing structural related design processes, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.My expertise spans across designing I-girder, U-beam, box beam, and slab beam bridges, as well as MSE, Cantilever, drilled shaft, and soil nail walls. I am proficient in AASHTO and TxDOT PS & E standards and procedures and have a strong track record working closely with key agencies like TxDOT, the City of Houston, HECTRA, and Port of Houston.Beyond structural design, I stand out for my ability to develop in-house software tools to streamline processes and enhance design efficiency. With a deep understanding of the software I use daily, I am able to design user-friendly solutions and troubleshoot any issues as they arise. This hands-on approach has resulted in significant process improvements and more efficient project delivery.Looking ahead, I am eager to take on more leadership responsibilities in project management and business development while continuing to leverage my technical expertise to solve critical infrastructure challenges.
