Work as first line of defense for Investment and Corporate banking. Assist the Global Issues Management team in implementing a Strategic Plan to help drive the cultural shift on awareness of raising Issues and enhancing control.• Developed operating procedures, guidance, materials and training relating to Issues Management. Increased the global self-identified issue rate from 45% to 75%.• Interact with Compliance team, Internal Audit, regulator and other control groups to understand the findings and the potential impact it may have globally, finalise the action plan to be delivered by the business to compensate the issue. • Manage the process end to end, challenge the deficiencies with the relevant owners, ensure the action Plan is achievable and ensure stakeholders are involved to complete the plan and provide evidence on time. Including several complicated issues such as the Net-Zero Plan, Citigroup’s Restructuring, and Russian Oil price Cap Regulation issues. • Generate analysis reports on issues and Review the output from the Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) with global regional heads on a weekly basis to note any control deficiencies that require attention and escalating. Coordinate with Regional heads to review the issues may have global impact.
