About Yiming Fu
My name is Yiming Fu, a current student at Carnegie Mellon University. My major is Master of Information Systems Management with concentration in Business Intelligence & Data Analytics. I have plentiful experience within the field of data science and machine learning, hoping to search for relevant jobs. During my internship at JingDong Technology, one of the biggest E-commerce platform in China, I have acquainted myself with the application of data science in the business field. I was chiefly in charge of analyzing user profiles and transaction behavior for JingDong financial products with massive user amount. I also utilized SQL for large-scale data retrieval and R for key business metrics prediction. This experience has strengthened my capability to solve business problems with the help of data science and cooperate with others effectively for better performance. Speaking of my technical skills, I am proficient in computing programming using Python, R, SQL, C/C++ and Java. I also got a good command of mathematics, statistics, data science and machine learning, owing to my undergraduate study at Tsinghua University, the best comprehensive university in China. My first-class scholarship of excellence in academic performance can definitely demonstrate my learning ability, while my internship experience has strengthened my team spirit and leadership.
