Behavioral Phenoscreening: Remote Assessment of Child Mental Health (REACH)Mentor: Prof. Yiqiu Shen, Prof. Lauren Shuffrey- Assisted on REACH (Remote Assessment of Child Mental Health) study, building a behavior phenoscreening pipeline on infant action videos using YOLOv7 for object detection and FiDIP/HW-HuP-Infant for 2D/3D pose estimation; benchmarked 4 skeleton-based action recognition models (DeepLSTM, ST-GCN, InfoGCN, PoseC3D) to predict early externalizing outcomes- Integrated multi-level health and social data from Epic Cosmos with video features to support early externalizing risk prediction, and prototyped a remote phenoscreening tool targeting ~1,500 infants with reproducible training, evaluation, and IRB/HIPAA-aligned controls- Experimented with Google MediaPipe Tasks (pose, face, and hand landmarkers) on infant still-face and motor-task videos to build a multi-person holistic video landmarking pipeline that outputs overlaid visualizations and synchronized per-frame JSON trajectories for downstream temporal modeling and quality control- Built an infant still-face audio analysis workflow in TorchAudio, extracting STFT/log-mel time–frequency features with frame-level energy, dominant-frequency and band-energy summaries, plus candidate high-activity interval mining for event interpretation and video-time alignment- Audited a 2.4TB multi-timepoint infant behavioral video corpus (~22K files) and engineered a Python inventory pipeline with regex-based subject ID normalization and task pattern matching across heterogeneous naming conventions; systematically catalogued 378 experimenter session notes spanning three longitudinal timepoints to support downstream data curation and label acquisition
