Generate potential options for how GAF’s assets and capabilities can be leveraged to drive growth in promising markets, including by conducting analyses of GAF’s current product portfolio and emerging customer trends/needs to identify potential growth areasModel potential growth and disruption scenarios and the impact on GAF’s core business, including the potential impact on OI of the existing core businessConduct competitive benchmarking on the strategies’ of GAF’s competitors and how they compare to GAFConduct in-depth market assessments of new markets to identify opportunities and risksDevelop communications laying out the strategy including both operational and financial details for presentations to various levels of the organizationDevelop “how to win” value propositions for entrance into new market areasIdentify and develop relationships with third party partners with whom GAF can collaborate to jointly develop, pilot, or launch new products and / or servicesPartner with other functions at GAF including Marketing, Growth and Innovation, R&D, legal, IT, etc, to develop new product or service offerings in accordance with our strategiesWork with other external players in the ecosystem (distributors, contractors, insurance, companies in adjacent markets) to understand the needs and potential value proposition across a range of customer typesWorking closely with Standard Industries, support strategic-fit assessment and diligence of high-potential acquisition and investments targets
