About Yifang Liu
I am currently a Ph. D candidate with expertise in gene therapy, cell-based assays, mRNA detection and sequencing, analytical techniques for biomolecules (RNA and antibody).1. I have developed a fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)-based method to achieve fast detection of infectious virions, this assay overcome the weakness of cell-based titer method which can cause large variation between labs. I have developed an amplified FISH method to target nuclear RNA and transcriptions sites, by separating cells based on expression level of transcription sites and performing RNA-seq and Mass Spectrometry analysis based on systematic transcriptome profile and proteomics data, I can better understand transcription process and cells in different states.
