My current focus is on systems and compilers of large foundation models, with a mission of making them train and serve efficiently and reliably on AWS. My research enabled multiple products in Amazon including ML accelerators (AWS Trainium/Inferentia), foundation model service (Amazon Bedrock), LLM (Amazon Titan), deep learning compiler (Amazon SageMaker Neo), and distributed training (Amazon SageMaker Rubik).
