Hi there! I’m Yichang Xiao and my English name is Ashley. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Business minor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Class of 2028), with academic interests in financial systems, global governance, and cross-cultural storytelling.I was selected for the Risk Management Academy at Gies College of Business, a competitive cohort program focused on insurance analytics, financial risk strategy, and real-world applications of actuarial science and economics.Furthermore, my own experiences includes hybrid roles in youth photography and social media strategy at Sports Media, event coordination and creative writing for student organizations, and assistant teaching in History and Economics.
