ABOUT YIAN LUO

I am currently studying for a BSc in Accounting and Finance at Warwick Business School. I aspire to pursue a career in finance, especially in consulting. This is because I noticed that my experience, skills and interests make me a good fit. My professional journey includes valuable internships at Agricultural Bank of China and CITIC securities, where I gained hands-on experience in auditing financial statements, financial analysis, and portfolio. These experiences have deepened my understanding of financial operations and strengthened my analytical skills. As an active member of the Warwick Business School Financial Programming Team, I have honed my skills in financial modeling using Python and R. Projects such as developing Fama-French and CAPM models have enhanced my ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions. I am also passionate about research, having authored a paper on the financial investment analysis of the Chinese film industry, which was recognized at CONF-BPS 2023 and indexed in DOA, CPCI, and Google Scholar. Proficient in Python, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite, I am adept at leveraging technology to streamline processes and deliver insightful analyses. Fluent in both English and Chinese, with interests ranging from badminton and swimming to fitness and R&B music.
