Volunteer Urban Design Intern (Unpaid) – Toledo & Detroit- Coordinated with MWAA, engineers, and City of Toledo officials to ensure the design of the Farmer Community Center aligned with resilience-focused urban interventions benefiting over residents- Developed a mixed‑use master plan integrating urban farming, education, affordable housing, and public spaces; proposed pedestrian‑friendly landscapes and produced visualizations to support stakeholder decision‑making- Prepared and presented plans and reports to clients and regulators, translating policy requirements into equitable land‑use and community‑centred design solutions- Conducted GIS‑based spatial analysis of property ownership, housing instability, and neighborhood reinvestment in the Detroit Resiliency Study, supporting data‑driven, resilient urban design strategies.
