I am a seasoned 27-year software vet with over 18 years in leadership positions in client and product management. I also specialize in implementation and management of large network infrastructure solutions, with emphasis on SDDC deployment and cybersecurity. My professional experience has focused on development team, network team, and product team management.In the product arena, my work centers around vision and strategic direction, competitive analysis, roadmap design, and market dynamics. I work directly with clients to help them translate problem statements into applied solutions, by working with the business to ideate, look at competition, visualize a solution, and transform it into a product.On the network side, this includes large-scale virtualization deployment, focused on software-defined data center design, storage-as-code, and containerization; and also includes physical deployments of routing and edge compute devices. Areas of specialization include VMware vSphere, vSAN, and vCloud Director deployments; and Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5, Fortigate, and Netgate solutions. My cybersecurity bonafides include familiarity with anti-DDoS systems, and FISMA/FIPS compliance in public sector.
