ABOUT YEVGEN NEBESOV
Hey,I bring systems architecture into the world of power and politics.And… I bring politics into the world of systems architecture.After years of consulting on complex software projects, I came to a core conclusion: an organization and the technical systems it builds are deeply intertwined. Technical decisions are social decisions, and social decisions are technical decisions. Navigating these relationships is the focus of my work. I call this approach Sociotechnical Engineering (see my talks and blog below).Beyond consulting, I apply this systems-level thinking to my local community. In my hometown of Bruchsal, I organize IT meetups and tech conferences. These events bring curious minds from our region together to spark new ideas, establish connections, and facilitate the development of the city\'s innovation ecosystem.Deeply affected by the invasion of my native country, Ukraine, I volunteer to support Ukrainian refugees in Bruchsal. As a member of the local Ukrainian community Frei Geboren, I help organize events that preserve our culture and foster intellectual exchange in the diaspora. I also volunteer as a Product Owner for Podiia (Ukrainian for \"event\"), a social impact platform aiming to connect the Ukrainian diaspora across Germany.Finally, I proactively engage in fighting antisemitism in the information space, contributing to a society where grievances do not entitle people to hate and violence.
