ABOUT YESIM DEMIR

After transitioning from a customer-focused career into the tech world, I have immersed myself in web development and IT education. I completed a comprehensive certificate program in full-stack web development, focusing on JavaScript and the MERN stack. In addition to my technical training, I have earned multiple certifications in front-end development, user interface design, and digital tools through Canvas Credentials (Badgr) to become a well-rounded IT professional. As part of my commitment to digital empowerment, I founded a community initiative called Bilişim & Kadın Akademi, where I coordinate and deliver free online IT courses and workshops for women from diverse backgrounds. This project allows me to combine my technical expertise with my background in communication and education. I am passionate about making technology accessible, especially for underrepresented groups, and helping others gain the skills they need to thrive in the digital world. My goal is to grow into a professional web developer and IT trainer who contributes to digital transformation, social inclusion, and lifelong learning.
