I am a mission-driven public service professional with over a decade of experience in California state government and healthcare systems, progressing from legal administration and executive support into strategic leadership roles. I currently serve in the Quality and Population Health Management Division at the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), supporting executive leadership on complex, statewide initiatives that advance quality, population health, and health equity.As a first-generation Mexican-American Latina and proud college graduate, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Arizona State University (Class of 2025). My professional journey is grounded in resilience, service, and a deep commitment to strengthening public systems that serve diverse communities.I bring expertise in strategic operations, program and policy analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong track record of leading high-impact initiatives. My work at DHCS includes supporting division-wide SMART goal tracking, contributing to the Comprehensive Quality Strategy, and aligning senior leaders, clinical experts, and community partners to drive measurable outcomes.Previously, at UC Davis Health and Sutter Health, I partnered closely with executive leaders on operational strategy, compliance, and patient-centered initiatives.
