Focus on discovery of drug candidates and evaluation of effects of therapeutic candidates for human diseases and cancers.• Industrial and academic experience with diverse in vivo models of oncology, targeted small molecule-focused drug discovery programs and platform, anti-tumor immuno-therapeutics, and development of preclinical murine models mimicking human diseases.• Experience in building up new in vivo pharmacology team from the ground and establishing operational objectives, procedures, and comprehensive in vivo strategic plans to evaluate in vivo efficacies.• Extensive understanding of PK/PD/efficacy assessments and preclinical data package generation to help support human dose prediction, and efficiently leading and mentoring a high-functioning in vivo pharmacology team contributing to drug portfolio through timely professional in vivo efforts.• Ability to communicate clearly in vivo strategy to internal and external stakeholders and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary preclinical discovery teams (Biology, DMPK, Drug Safety/Toxicology, Formulation, Translational medicine, Bioinformatics, and Chemistry) in order to move preclinical drug discovery programs forward to clinical trials.• Comprehensive experience of diverse in vivo models including human cell line-derived xenografts (CDX), patient-derived xenografts (PDX), syngeneic rodent cancer models, and genetically engineered mouse (GEM) models. • Proficiency and hands-on experience with the in-life procedures and techniques including diverse routes (PO, IP, IV, SC, iTu) of drug administration, tumor growth monitoring, IVIS, rodent clinical observation, necropsy, and blood/tissue sample collections.• Manage numerous time-sensitive internal and external in vivo pharmacology studies, and have strong experience with IACUC protocol writing, interaction with IACUC, and internal vivarium management and operations.• Working experience as a Director in vivo pharmacology at small molecule/mRNA/oncolytic virus modalities-leveraged biotech in Great Boston area.• Ph.D. degree in Life Science/Biotechnology and postdoctoral background in oncology and cell biology, mouse modeling and genetics, molecular and developmental biology, biochemistry, dermatology, and immunology-oncology.
