About Michael Yen-Ho
YenChi (Michael) Ho is Senior Program Manager for Azure Developer Division Platform Engineering Team (DevEx Growth Team). He oversees Azure Developer Platform services (Azure PaaS) that focuses on enhancing agility, resiliency, serviceability, and overall application capabilities on Azure to help customers increase developer velocity. He also works closely with the partner ecosystem to enabling wider partner network for Microsoft. Before DevDiv, he was the Linux and OSS Lead for Azure, who leads the Linux on Azure business strategy and technical marketing and has enabled many fortune 500 customers and SI partners to run large scale Linux solutions on Azure. He has rich experience leading the Linux and OSS ecosystem growth in both business and technology for Microsoft, collaborating with the Open-Source ecosystem partners (Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, Cloudera, VMware, Elastic, Hashi Corp, Confluent and more), landing solution GTM strategies and drive business results via technology integration. He was the program manager of Azure for Startups (formerly known as BizSpark) and the core representative of Microsoft Accelerator in Asia. He was also the key representative of Azure for Academics. Aside from work, he is a geek inside-out who loves new technology gadgets and automobiles, passionate in trying new tech services and enjoys travel, ski, and photography.
