I am passionate about building automation tools and infrastructure. I believe well designed tools and frameworks are one of the most critical things to productivity improvement and software reliability.I am very fortunate to be able to work on the entire software stack, from GUI, web server, middleware, all the way down to the system infrastructure level such as database, logging, streaming, AWS, Kubernetes, and more. Through my work experience, I have gained rich experience and skills in CICD, system design. The exposure to a large number of different big systems also makes me a quick learner in picking up new things. I am big advocate of system reliability, performance and productivity.

   Tech lead/manager of devtools team, focus areas include Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, internal tooling and Testing Infrastructure. hands on projects- Migrating Houzz web stack from AWS EC2 to kubernetes, including kubernetes configuration management, Istio networking, resource management, performance optimization, troubleshooting and overall strategy - Design and Implemented canary deployment process using istio networking. covering backend infrastructure, load balancer, distributed system, applications deployment- Releasing tooling: build release tool collaborating with Jenkins, spinnaker for continuous build and deploy containerize services to k8s clusters- Setup process and support for developer productivity includes development, code validation, staging stabilities- Redefine and create product testing and release process.
