ABOUT YEHOR MYKHAILOV
I am a second-year Software Engineering student at the University of Glasgow with a GPA of 18.8 out of 22. Alongside my studies, I serve as a Class Representative and Peer Mentor in Computing Science, and I have been elected School of Computing Science Representative for 2026–2027.These roles have strengthened my leadership, communication, and sense of responsibility, as I regularly represent student feedback and work with staff to improve the academic experience. My technical experience includes Python, Java, SQL, Django, FastAPI, and front-end fundamentals including HTML and CSS. I also have a strong foundation in linear algebra, multivariable calculus, and statistics, which supports my approach to analytical and technical problem-solving.I have taken part in the GUTS Hackathon, where my team developed a strategic game under time pressure. That experience strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively, adapt quickly, and deliver working solutions in constrained environments.More recently, I was selected for J.P. Morgan’s Spring Week programme, where I gained exposure to real-world financial technology and software engineering practices.I am currently seeking a summer 2027 internship in software engineering, AI, or machine learning, where I can contribute to meaningful projects and continue developing as an engineer.
