As the Unaccompanied Housing Superintendent for Kunsan Air Base, I serve as the senior enlisted leader overseeing all aspects of unaccompanied housing operations for a high-tempo, forward-deployed installation supporting over 2,800 active-duty personnel. I manage a team of 20 military and civilian personnel, including Airmen Dorm Leaders, Maintenance Liaisons, and Administrative Coordinators, ensuring seamless 24/7 support across all housing-related functions.I’m directly responsible for the operation, maintenance, readiness, and quality of life within 38 dormitory facilities totaling 2,904 rooms. My duties span from occupancy management, room assignments, and inbound/outbound coordination to budget oversight, renovation planning, inspections, and long-range facility sustainment.I lead efforts in cross-functional collaboration with Civil Engineering, Force Support Squadron, Security Forces, and First Sergeants to guarantee the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of every living space. My role ensures that warfighters are housed in mission-ready conditions that support resilience, morale, and operational success.Additionally, I oversee the execution of a $980 million housing facility, manage facility work orders, and implement compliance measures in accordance with Air Force Instructions (AFIs), Department of Defense policies, and local environmental and safety codes.This position requires rapid problem-solving, strategic planning, and people-first leadership. Every day, I shape the living standards and readiness of our most valuable asset our Airmen.
