Working as a backend developer in Deliveroo’s Trust team which safeguards Deliveroo’s platform against fraudulent activity from restaurants, riders and customers using Golang and Scala. Worked on end-to-end development of a rate limiter in the account verification service to combat SMS pumping attacks. It helped us in reducing the SMS pumping attacks to 0%(approx). It helped deliveroo in saving month on month on SMS costs which equates to ~$1.2M year on year cost saving.
