I am a global, customer-centric and transformative business leader. A full stack CMO with General Management (GM) expertise, bringing 15+ years of experience that uniquely combines Big Tech (Uber, eBay, PayPal), global CPGs (Mars, Clorox, Danone) and disruptive startups. This diverse background has made me a more effective CMO, honing my skill set: brand building and P&L management from CPGs, acquisition and retention marketing and measurement from Big Tech and innovation/agility and scaling up at start-ups. My experience spans managing gross values from $300 million to $17 billion, with marketing investments ranging from modest to substantial. I have grown global, emotion-driven consumer brands, built new categories and disrupted traditional ones (digital genealogy and genomics at Ancestry,\"airbnb of cars\" at Getaround) and led high performing, distributed global teams – all while having fun!I found my calling for global marketing at a night Philip Kotler brand management course, freshman year at Northwestern and that was it! I am passionate about deeply understanding the consumer across geographies/cultures/segments and determining how to meet their needs with the right product, brand storytelling and direct response marketing; while balancing regional nuances with global efficiencies.
