Hi there! I’m Yavisth Makkar. Thanks for checking in my profile. I am currently a law student pursuing my B.B.A. LL.B. at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, India, a constituent of Symbiosis International University, Pune, India.My primary interests lie in Technology Law, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, Media and Telecommunications Law, and Intellectual Property. I am particularly interested in how these domains interact across Indian and EU legal landscapes, and how regulation can meaningfully evolve alongside technological innovation.I am deeply interested in the LegalTech ecosystem and the role of technology in reshaping legal practice, compliance, and governance. My work and writing increasingly focus on building an ecosystem where technology, AI, policy, and law evolve together, rather than in silos.Alongside law, I actively explore how legal frameworks can support innovation, responsible technology adoption, and institutional design. I am especially interested in interdisciplinary work that sits at the intersection of law, technology, and policy.I’m always keen to connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate with others working across law, technology, policy, and LegalTech.
