I recently completed General Assembly’s full-time Software Engineering Immersive, a fast-paced, project-based bootcamp where I transitioned from UI/graphic design into full-stack software development.During the program, I gained hands-on experience building and deploying full-stack web applications using modern tools and technologies, including: JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, Python, Django, and Django REST Framework RESTful APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and database design with Neon Front-end templating with EJS, responsive design, and accessibility best practices Testing APIs with Postman and deploying projects to Heroku and NetlifyI collaborated on team-based projects using Agile methodology, daily stand-ups, and version control with Git/GitHub, and presented my work in code reviews and retrospectives.With a strong foundation in UI/graphic design, I brought a creative approach to my projects, ensuring clean interfaces, intuitive UX, and seamless functionality. By combining my technical skills and design sensibilities, I deliver solutions that are both visually appealing and highly functional. I\'m excited to grow as a junior software developer, contribute to meaningful projects, and keep learning and evolving in the tech industry.
