ABOUT YASSER FAHMY

I am a warm, friendly, and approachable individual with a positive attitude and have a strong passion in project management. I have demonstrated success in the field of civil engineering and construction. I have a vast knowledge of Infrastructure and major Civil Marine projects. My greatest expertise is in project planning, execution and delivering of engineering solutions for multi-million-dollar major construction projects for reputed companies in Canada and the Middle East. My greatest achievement is in managing a vast number of small to large scale construction projects with local and international contractors. I have successfully completed different types of civil, industrial, infrastructure and buildings projects. My main strengths are risk assessment, contracts management, and budget control. I also possess excellent and strong communication skills while constantly maintaining a solid work relationship with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. I also upheld a high level of professionalism by working closely with the site team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and ensure quality of work and schedules are maintained regularly. My vast international and local experience in project management gave me the opportunity to oversea several projects and to explore different work situations, challenges, and communication styles. This has further given me the appreciation for the advantages of cultural diversity and enhanced cultural competence to reduce cross-cultural misunderstanding.
