I am a senior global development leader and strategic communicator with more than 20 years of experience mobilizing resources, shaping policy, and strengthening institutions across the United Nations system, international NGOs, foundations, Harvard, and city government.I specialize in translating complex research, policy, and community perspectives into clear strategies and compelling narratives that move donors, influence decision-makers, and expand organizational visibility. My work spans governance, human rights, youth development, and women’s empowerment across Asia, Africa, and the Americas.As former Executive Director of the Massachusetts Asian American and Pacific Islanders Commission and a current city commissioner, I expanded statewide engagement, strengthened legislative advocacy, and built durable systems centered on community voice. I increased the organization’s budget threefold while deepening cross-sector partnerships and institutional credibility.I bring a data-informed approach to leadership, including a strong understanding of AI, personalization, and predictive analytics to enhance communications, learning, and policy strategy. I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies can strengthen civic engagement, institutional trust, and inclusive leadership.I am seeking senior executive or board roles where I can drive fundraising strategy, strengthen global programs, and secure the partnerships and resources necessary to advance lasting, equitable change.
