About Yasmin M. Sheriff

As a versatile business executive and licensed attorney with comprehensive hospitality/travel industry experience in both the public and private sectors, I have a strong history of advising on the implementation of best practices that actively support organizational goals in securing and expanding business development opportunities, maintaining corporate and regulatory compliance, obtaining government contracts, and forging life-long strategic partnerships. As Principal & Managing Director of Strategy Maven, LLC, I leverage these experiences to provide retail and food & beverage business consulting and strategic planning to public and private companies. I enjoy analyzing and advising on business growth plans while seeking innovative ways to optimize operations. Clients come to me to introduce them to key players in the airport concessions and travel industry and help them formulate innovative strategy and create partnerships that win new business. In 2024 I was elected to the Associates Board of Directors for Airports Council International - North America (ACI-NA), an organization that advocates policies and provides services that strengthen the ability of commercial airports to serve their passengers, customers, and communities. I have been a frequent attendee, moderator, and presenter in local, regional, and national conferences, diversity outreach events and industry associations including Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), American Association of Airport Executives National Diversity Council, and Women’s Foodservice Forum.
