As the sole Labour Relations and Health & Safety Specialist for the bargaining agency, my key responsibilities include:(1) labour relations pursuant to the collective agreement including knowledge of and advising on relevant legislation, case law and rulings; discipline, accommodation and grievance management; collective bargaining strategy and implementation; and (2) workplace/occupational health & safety including knowledge of and advising on relevant legislation and regulations.The Ontario Crown Attorneys’ Association (OCAA) is a labour organization representing approximately 1400 Assistant Crown Attorneys (prosecutors) and articling students employed by the Criminal Law Division of the Ministry of the Attorney General within the Government of Ontario. The OCAA is committed to providing the highest quality Labour Relations and Occupational Health & Safety related services to its members, who prosecute criminal cases throughout the Province of Ontario.
