About Yasmine Abdeldayem
I’m a recent graduate of Macaulay Honors College with a BA in English and a passion for stories of all mediums. I was recently the marketing and editorial intern for the team at Mulholland Books, the suspenseful fiction imprint of Little, Brown at HBG. I\'m a We Need Diverse Books Summer 2022 grantee alongside my summer publishing experience. Prior to that, I worked as the Equity in Arts Leadership intern at Americans for the Arts, where I directly assisted in the over-arching goal to provide equitable opportunities to underrepresented groups in the arts/arts administration industry. I write for pleasure and contributed to my college newspaper in a variety of subjects, from campus news to general entertainment. I served as The Banner\'s Arts & Entertainment section editor during my junior year and was promoted to managing editor of the student-led newspaper.
