ABOUT YASMIN ROYE
Biochemist (B.Sc) and Biomedical Engineer (Ph.D.) with technical skillsets in preclinical disease modeling including molecular/cellular biology, bioengineering, and stem cell biology. I am currently a Staff Scientist at the Arkansas Children\'s Research Institute where I am responsible for research operations of R01-funded, multi-site clinical studies that investigate the pharmacogenetics of Cystic Fibrosis within the lab of Jennifer Guimbellot, M.D. Ph.D. In addition, throughout my educational career, I have gained extensive experience in financial investing (scientific and non-scientific), innovation & entrepreneurship, and tech licensing & commercialization. My long-term career pursuits remain at the intersection of science and business as a Medical Science Liaison, researcher reviewer at the FDA, and within the fields of Private Equity and Venture Capital.
