   Plan and procure direct material across a wide spectrum of commodities to support the instrument and consumables activity. Key owner of supplier relationship. Resolve the daily tactical supply chain issues such as backorder resolution, open order expediting, lead time management and supplier production issues.• Procure indirect materials as required for build.• Identify critical components and manage supply.• Negotiate pricing and supply agreements as needed, maintain positive vendor relationships, plan and input to the negotiation of beneficial supplier agreements on behalf of the Company.• Manage inventory levels for law materials and pass-through finished goods.• Participate in the MRB process for non-confirming material and drive supplier corrective actions as required.• Manage outsourced and turnkey supplier relationships.• Select, evaluate, monitor key suppliers, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.• Work closely with production and engineering on shortages, obsolete parts, MRB replacement parts.
