About Yasir Hameed

As a Campaign Manager at Show Time Consultancy, I held a position of senior executive and led a team in designing and executing the campaign for the National People\'s Party in the 2023 Meghalaya General Assembly election. My team was responsible for managing the election campaign in three constituencies under the West Garo Hills region of the state. This experience allowed me to develop skills in strategic planning, campaign management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to my role as a Campaign Manager, I worked as a Research Analyst at JanSoch Consultancy. Here, I worked with the social media team that was designated for the digital campaign for the Indian National Congress in the 2022 State Assembly election. My role involved providing research-based data, policy analysis, data on social issues, media coverage, and campaign analysis of other parties. During my three-month internship as an Associate Photographer at Gaya Times (now Manthan), I gained insight into journalistic work at a vernacular level. I had the opportunity to cover major cultural events in the city, such as the Pitru Paksha Mela and the annual Bodh Mahotsav cultural events in Bodhgaya. This experience helped me to develop my photography skills and taught me how to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. As a Volunteer at Action Aid Association, I participated in ActivateStreet, a creative learning program that aimed to enhance the learning skills of homeless children living in temporary shelters. My role involved engaging with the children by helping them with their formal education and indulging them in co-curricular activities. Overall, my professional experiences have helped me to develop a range of skills and knowledge that I can bring to future roles. I have gained skills in strategic planning, campaign management, research and analysis, photography, communication, and teamwork. I am confident that my experiences have prepared me to take on new challenges and make a meaningful contribution to any organization I work with.
